Nick Iwanicki started as University Archivist for the University of Miami in August 2021. He leads the effort to document the achievements and experiences of UM faculty, staff, and students between the Coral Gables campus, Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Sciences and the Miller School of Medicine. Additionally, he provides institution-wide support to departments and student organizations to support UM’s Centennial Celebration (2025-2026). He earned his MLIS with a focus in Archives and Records Management from the University of Denver. Prior to joining the University of Miami, he led archival projects for the Caribou Ranch Recording Studio and The Colorado School of Mines.
